The intensive five-day training, led by Patricia
Lee Lewis, provides leadership skills, hands-on
experience, and practical information about how
to form successful writing groups for writers from
all levels and backgrounds. This training can take

How to start a business running writing workshops.
How to get grants to lead writing groups for people in schools, hospitals, housing projects, prisons and other specific sites.

Trainees become part of a large network of other AWA writing workshop leaders around the US and in other countries.
As Affiliates, trainees have access to marketing, leadership and writing ideas and resources.
Cost: $2000 includes tuition, room and board, and all training materials and activities.
